We all know the saying…”If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” Well, I’m more of the “come sit by me” type…so, let’s chat. ROMAN NAIL BAR, has… 1. No attention to detail 2. No spa treatment & 3. No personal touch The above alone is enough to keep a “Pedi Girlie,” such as myself away, but if you aren’t convinced…how about this…they SENT ME HOME with products. Yes, you read that correctly. I won’t belabor the point but Roman Nail Bar is a flat out NO.

We are visiting for a golf tournament and out of 6 people being serviced only 3 left decently pleased after an over $300 bill of course. Don’t go here if you get acrylic on your toes and definitely don’t go to Henry the pedi was terrible and they thought we would pay for something we didn’t ask for as I intended to leave the salon with Carolina blue toes. The man Thomas was extremely unprofessional and rude and was huffing and puffing while having to fix acrylic that was already lifting on my toes after only 20 mins of them being done. They need to learn better customer service skills or hire someone to run the salon who can take care of the customers effectively.

I feel renewed and restored! 🙌🏼 The staff treated me so well! 👑 I had my 1st appointment and this is MY NEW home for nail luxury! ... I went in after a disappointing experience with my insurance company, so I was not in a happy mood. 😢 My technician is Ty and his care + professionalism had me so refreshed that I just have to share how wonderful Set Nails is! (I literally just left 30 minutes ago 😉) I recommend the Seasonal Pedicure in Peppermint. I got the Spa Manicure 💅 and added a neck and shoulder massage for only $10! ... They have a FREE ATM right there and offer $3 off your service of $30 or more if you pay in cash. Make sure you bring cash for your tip, even if you plan to only pay by card. ... I didn’t get acrylics but they offer a warranty, so make sure to ask about it. Also, make an appointment AND you can do that online on their site. ... Thank you 🙏 Ty 🙏 for being a blessing to me today. You didn’t just “do your job” today, you showed genuine concern while providing a service, and I needed that. I look forward to seeing everyone soon. 💖

I had a interesting first time I did not wait long what so ever. My pedicure was great paint job was good. I got a full set and everything went to pieces. I showd the nail tech what I wanted I was first told I could not get it because they did not have the gold flakes . I told the tech that it was ok just make the gold bright with polish . The tech said ok. when the tech laid the nails down and cut them I seen that the my were crooked I asked for them to be fixed the nail tech told me I will fix after when I am filing. the nail tech filed so much they hit my nail bed burning 3 my fingers with the nail file took so much off the made the nail in the opposite direction. I asked the nail tech to build the nail back up then file a little bit of so they would Match. it came Out horrible so I asked the nail tech to place rhinestones to distract. when It came to pay this nail tech charged me 150. i would go back but to this nail tech what so ever. Btw they had the gold flakes concept was nice 1 pictures is what I wanted

I came to this salon once and never again. They are severely overpriced- they charged me $56 for the shortest Nails I have ever gotten and wanted to call them long??!! Where?? The manager came and lowered it to 46 but still way over market value for what I received. I got acrylic and clear gel Polish. The base charge for acrylic is 36??? Don’t go here-save your money and go somewhere else. They up charge and I’m going to report that everywhere they advertise.

The last time I was here I had a pleasant experience. I had my toes done in a hot pink with black color tip on the top. Similar to a French manicure but with darker colors as I can’t use light colors because my toes are discolored. I also cannot use gel polish because I have weak toenails and it damages them. When I came today I told the lady I wanted purple with white tip this time and she stated she couldn’t do that unless gel. I explained I did that here last time. At which time the front desk girl handed me off to a different person and I told him I want purple and white and if he couldn’t do it I would do pink and black again as I was not staying if they were going to force me to do the gel. To which he shook his head yes. Then when it came time to paint he said he couldn’t do it unless gel. I was not happy as I wouldn’t of stayed to begin with because they have done before. Someone I am assuming is the manager came to talk to me. He proceeded to tell me that I never had that done here and when I asked him if he was saying I was lying he said yes they don’t do that. Unbelievable when I had it done here. Terrible Customer Service!

I've gone to this nail salon for years and it's always a hit or miss but today was my last straw. I had previously had a set of acrylic tips TWO MONTHS AGO. There is no longer the tip then length was all real nail I told them I wanted to shorten them because of the job I have I can no longer have fake nails or long ones at that. I'm not sure who my tech was but he was using a drill bit that I've never had used on me before and I also thing it was his first time with it because he nicked me with it 3 or 4 different times. Then he pulls out the glue and I stop him I'm like there should be no glue needed anymore like all that's left is natural nail and he continues to try to put glue on me. I was like nope I've had enough. You're hurting me and I know there shouldn't be anymore glue needed especially when I told you I needed short natural nails. Officially done going here. Like I just wanted them removed and to do gel or dip still on my natural nail which is all that was under there no acrylic

Update: I am extremely disappointed with my service today. My sister and I came in for gel manicures and gel pedicures. My tech was Vincent and my sister's tech was Chistine. Christine thank you for my sister's service. She was beyond satisfied. I on the other hand was extremely disappointed with Vincent's service. I thought my feet were great till I felt them. After soaking my nails in acetone to remove the gel polish, which I prefer they be wrapped in cotton and foil (which I asked for), he proceeds to cut my nails and cuticles, file my nails and apply a base coat at the pedicure chair. I asked why he was trying to continue to cut my cuticles as he had not given me a manicure and he tells me about charging for a color change and applying some oil on my cuticles. I then asked, if there was no time to do a manicure correctly, we should have been told upon entering there was no time and we could have come another day. I suppose he was disgusted, he cleans up and leaves, telling me someone else will do my manicure. After a little while of sitting at the pedicure station, I ask Tommy who will be completing my nails. He said he would after ringing up another customer. He does do my nails, as he suggest dip over gel. With the attempt to fix the mess Vincent did, I appreciate the effort. Although, the damage was already done, my nails were cut too short by Vincent and I preferred to have gel and a design which I could not get with a dip. I pay for our services and we leave. I get to my vehicle and I look at my hands in comparison to my feet, the colors are no where near the same. I then view the receipt and my gel polish price for pedicure is $15.00 and my sister's is $12.00. I also notice a $3.00 gel polish take off (I suppose to cover the cost of what Vincent started) but all he did was apply a base coat before I asked about not receiving a proper manicure. Tommy also spoke of a discount for the inconvenience, but their was no discount as I paid $199.00 for our service. I also would like to add, you all need to be careful about what you say in your native language, I for one come from a blended, multi-culture family and don't appreciate being disrespected and talked about because I spoke about your poor service. I never left a review for a nail salon but the service I received was so outstanding, I couldn't help but to leave one. From the phone call I made to check on availability for a pedicure and manicure to walking in, the service I received was wonderful. The serene atmosphere, the cleanliness, the pleasant attitudes of the staff, I will be coming back and may try additional services. Thank you Henry for the welcoming service.
